Jl Audio vs. Soundstream amps

Need a little help. I will be installing the Focal 165 KF component set in my car and then later Focal 6x9's. I had pretty much decided to get the JL Audio 300/4 amp, but recently discovered the Soundstream Turantula amps at a local shop. The specs on their site look good and their like half the price ao the JL. Obviously I'm going more to the SQ side.

Does anybody have any experience with these two amps? I'm wondering if the Soundstream would be good enough or if I should spend the extra money for the JL amp?

The Jl amp is better and will last longer, but if the soundstream is only half the money its a no brainer.

Both are really good, but my take is I'd choose the JL. Awesome brand, clean power, and has many features over the SS. That'd be my choice.

i wouldnt want eaither. i like soundstream, i hate jl (just because of hype tbh), but i dont like those SS tarantaula amps.

get the other reference series ones.

Take care of them and they will last the same. JL amp are no better than soundstream amps. If you feel like paying the extra money so that your amp will say JL on it go for it. If you dont I would get somthin cheaper like soundstream which make great amps.
