JL audio VR vs XR 6.5 components...

Ive starting puttin only JL audio in my car have a 1000/1 and W7 but my front 6 1/2 coaxials are only JL TRs and i need something with a little more bump in the mids area... i was looking at the VR and XR component sets... now I know that the XR is better but is it really worth the extra 50 or so dollars not that im really on a budget. Also wondering how these compare to the TRs i have now.

not being a basher but why limit yourself to jl? i would never pay $1000+ for sub and amp when the sub has no linearity and the amp is regulated power supply lol.

the rockford power series bd1000 for example. can be wired down to .5 ohms for 2100+W i think it was.. your 1000W amp will do 1000W at 1ohm, 2ohm, and 4ohm...

I have run both the XR's and VR's and have heard the TR's quite a few times. Both sets are much nicer than the TR's , you'll notice quite a bit of difference. The speakers have the overall sound, but the V/X's get a lot louder and have a bit more punch to boot.
