Even as an entry level woofer W0....???these things are Garbage for the amount that they cost. yes they are accurate,but quiet. & made shitty.

i'd only run JL stuff if someone gave it to me. i like JL, great company, but sometimes a bit off on the pricing.

I think if someone gave me JL stuff, I would sell it. unless it was a w0, then i would plug it into a wall sockett.

i dont know if this is true or if you know this but this is what my local audio guy told me: if you keep the volumes down, all JL sound the same. so a w0 sounds the same as a w7. the only difference is that as you turn up the volume, the lower ones get distorted.

Actually, All JL's are Very accurate, & they generally won't distort unless you overpower them or have the wrong size enclosure. don't get me wrong, W0's are acurate. ...but for the price, you can get other subs that are just as accurate & that are constructed ALOT better.

what other company makes their low end sub sound so well??

kicker, mtx, etc........ all their low end subs don't match a jlw0

JL Audio doesn't ****.. YES THEY ARE OVERPRICE but that doesn't mean they ****...

I myself wont buy a JL Audio retail price.. BUT......

If you can get a W7, brand new for $200.. would you buy it?? if you're answer is "NO", then you really think JL sucks.. but if your answer is "yes", then you're just a hyprocrite that follows people's opinion

Shiva, DPL, CX , CK12d, these are JUST AFEW IN THAT PRICE RANGE that not only have cast baskets(besides shiva) But 2-3"voice coils(yes plural) nice terminals. *shiva usually people compare that w/a jlw3v2 besides adire don't have 4+ levels of subs or have been around long enough to show how reliable their products are compared to jl / kicker/ mtx/ rf/ etc......

point is jl has been around for a min. has the marketing to sell their products at the price they choose because someone is going to buy it. when you go to circuit city or best buy and then you go to a store that sells the same kinda sub for around the same price i'm sure you'd go w/that better brand...

polk, mtx (circuit city) rockford fostgate (best buy).. then you go jl at other stores and usually w0 and w3's are on display i'm sure u'd take it...

mtx 8000 vs w6v2 vs L5 vs he2 vs type r vs

then u got w7 a lot of the KNOWN places (meaning marketing products found in electronic stores) don't even have somethin that can match up w/a w7......

what is wrong with JL's other products like there amps and speakers? i have not heard anything bad except that blah blah there subs **** cuz i dont like them cuz they're over priced
