JL Audio question

I have an older JL Audio 10w6 version 1. I have jsut ripped the foam surround to shreads. I noticed the JL line up is much different than at the time of my version 1 purchase. My question is how close is the 10w3 version 3 related to the older 10w6 version 1s. The specs are pretty close. I have a box that sounds great for my 10w6 version 1 and I would like to put a 10w3 version 3 in its place, maybe add a little stuffing to the box.

Suggestions ?

As I have only posted 2 time regarding two different topics of my same situation.

1. question about the sub box

2. about the compatiility of a different speaker.

Since you posted first you are either a very terrible forum monitor who cant read

the w3v3's share teh same cone as the w6v2's/w7's . the w3v3's are awsome woofers and a good up grade from your w6 version 1
