jl audio or kicker

just wanted to know some of your guys opinions, going to buy new subs and its either going to be 2 12" jlw3v3 or 2 12" kicker compvr. cant make up my mind wondering if you guys could help me out?

One sounds good, one is loud. I had the W3s before, they sound pretty good but where not loud enough for me. They dont seem to have much of a presence to them. My freind has 3 CVR 12s and they get loud but its not a good loud. Its a annoying loud. So IMO they both ****

IA 187 sounds like a good choice here. get very loud in correct box.

JL w3s arent very loud as already mentioned but do sound pretty good.

Alpine Type R will do pretty decent off 400rms as well. I ran 250 to mine for a while and they got pretty loud.

DCON another great choice.

i have the jl 600/1 amp but was thinking about going bigger if i needed. what is wrong with 400 rms. and with the w3s what do u mean they arnt loud like they dont hit hard? i currently have 2 phoenix golds octane r and they pound real hard but are getting worn out.

well, it depends on what you consider loud....They can get decently loud for a nice little daily driver setup that will impress a good few people. But I doubt you'll be winning any competitions. It all depends on what you want.

One thing is for sure the w3s will sound better than those CVRs
