jl audio jx1000/1d or kicker cx1200.1

cant decide I can get jl for $70 cheaper and the 200 watt difference doesn't matter to me. My concern is what one is better built and what one would possibly give cleaner sound? idk what the unregulated mosfet in the jl means is that bad? crutchfield tech said kicker is better because their hi level input is also a line driver so you'll get cleaner sound. I have never owned jl audio before I really like the looks size and price I can get this for but can it compete with the kicker cx1200.1 from a quality standpoint. Would appreciate all opinions on both and anyone who is techy to explain why one might be better than the other.

The kicker will perform well on any stock electrical even at low volts due to some circuitry they put in these amps. They barely get warm and they do produce some surprising numbers no one thought such a small entry-level amp can put out. Could be why their kinda over priced. Im selling two of them for 300$ BOTH. Not a scratch used about 3 moths. Here's a bench test on the cx1200.1:

From what I've heard the "low end" JL amps are nothing special. If you can't afford the higher end slash (or find one used for a fair price) I'd lean towards the Kicker.

I own the cx600.1 I ended up with a hds312 so thats why im looking for one of these amps. My stock sub I tapped into I have been told is between 8-9v signal so im not a fan that the kickers up the voltage even more if that's actually true. I think im leaning towards the jl because Ive never used them for anything before.

Those JX1000 amps by JL Audio are the real deal. A lot of bang for the buck. Had one on a old Infinity 12" sub at one time and they do good work. Loud, good efficiency (easy on electrical) and barely get warm.

No experience with the Kicker amp.
