I believe SikCavy's dad has some of these sorts of things in his truck, and if they are similar then its a winner winner deal, dont like the ribbage though, gotta create some port cancellation and turbulence issues.

9 times out of 10, if your box is small enough to the point where you need a bendable port, that 4" port would need to be LONG for proper tuning.

if the box is that small then it will probable be too small to port, so it is useless (unless you going w/ 6.5" subs or 8" subs.)

I remember these, they mainly used them in the 8 and 10 boxes where the box was so small that obviously a straight wouldnt fit, i remember hearing them and they did sound good from a tiny box/woofer

JL wasnt always so overpriced, they were about on par with the other top of the line manufacturers of the day

i dont think jl audio even makes them lol prob just steeling there name ......id rather use a elbow or slot port at that
