they do make some pretty sweet fuse holders/fuses for under the hood though.. i use one of their ANL holders. beautiful.. and you can swivel it any way you want //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

No they dont have fuses in their amps. Because they are computerized. I opened one up and it looked the same like a computer motherboard. The JL Amps are pretty strong, but if something is wrong they dont work good. I had a JL 500/1 and it sucks, because it has too many adjustments and its hard to get it to work properly. I just got a Kenwood X810D and boy is it STRONG. The best I ever own. It is very very strong, and it doesnt get hot or need a fan. Also has a sexy light that changes colors, or can be adjusted to one color.

I paid 350.00 for it used, but brand new should be somewhere between 450.00-650.00, the Retail price was 750.00. But HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It will blow the S&%# out of one JL 12W7 or 2 JL 10W3V2's. I tried it out.

You n00b, it wouldnt blow either of those subs. each w3 could take a 500/1 and not blow....and 450.00-650.00 is way too much for 500 watt amp.

whoever blows a w7 or w3v2s w/that amp doesn't know how to tune

He couldn't figure out how to set up the 500/1, does any more really need to be said about that?

Yeah im running 3 10w3v2s off a 500/1 and its quite nice . Concidering it needs no remote wire (optional) and it will turn on other amps ....Look at the manual a little it tells ya how to set it depending on your setup ...... I am a big fan of jl's amps tho..........
