JL Audio 500/1v2 wiring options

I've got 2 JL Audio 10w3v3. Right now I've got one hooked up to 500 watts rms and it hits hard. This is with another amp, I haven't gotten the JL amp yet. If I wire the two 4 ohm svc subs in parellel for 2 ohms this will be 250 watts each. Will the 2 subs at 250 watts hit harder than the one at 500?

 
IMO, yes. You will be moving more air with two than you are with one.

PLUS, that JL 500/1 puts out more than its rated 500 watts.

I used a JL 500/1 to power 2 S10L5 Kicker subs and they SLAMMED!

R U using a sealed/ported enclosure? Just curious!!!!

doesnt reallt put out more than its rated.
