Can anyone tell me more less how much real rms power this amp puts out? From what I have read it is extremeley underratted, can this push 2 12 memphis mojo?

Let's get this straight. You want to know if a 500 watt amp is underrated so massively that it'll sufficiently power a pair of 1,000 watt rms subwoofers?

I mean i know its not putting out 1000 watt rms, first off but if its doing at least 700-800 im fine with that.

You're fine with powering a pair of subs that're rated for 2,000 watts rms with 700 - 800 watts? Why? Just buy one sub that requires the same power...

Yes, and you said you wanted to power 2 of them. Therefore, you'll need 2,000 watts rms...

your right it doesnt but im asking bc i have an opp to get one for 150, thats why im asking not because im sold on jl lke most i know there is better for the price out there

i dont think JLs are really that underrated. Ive never heard or seen of one that was. It might do 600. Even so, the mojo takes some juice to get movin, and i just dont think 300rms will suffice. Those are mostly spl subs and are pretty power hungry

what are ur subs dual 4 or dual 2 ohm, that jl amp will barely move them, i had a rockford t2000 on one of the 08 mojos and it was taking it pretty well...

They were tested as slightly underrated some time ago: JL Audio 500/1

Sadly, one 500/1 isn't enough for a single MOJO, let alone two.
