I have looked everywhere online and I can not find a repair guide. I'm certain the mosfets are fried and need replaced. Are there any tutorials on how to do this? The amp is a v2. Thanks.
I did that and all of the mosfets look fine. I did see one of what I believe is to be a capacitor that looked blown. How do I take the boards completely out of the case?
do you have a crappy old amp laying around? try pull the board out of that first to get an idea of how it comes apart, pretty sure mosfets all need to be unglued and detached from the heatsink, google car amp break down or something like that.
I bought it to fix and sell. I'm good with electronics and I wanted to see if I could fix this. Thanks anyways. But the only damage I see on the board is one capacitor and a few of the mosfets have little Knicks on them.
