im getin two 10w3v3's and im using a hifonics bxi 1606 amp....will this pound a lil? from what ive heard these subs are comparable in noise level of 10" l7's.

The JL's will be 10x cleaner than the Kicker, and pound hard

two kicker L7s would probably be louder but muddy sound in my opinion

if you have the space to work with, go ported with 1.25 cu ft per sub and use slot ports. they will "pound" hard and sound very clean an accurate. the l7 have just a little more cone area and may be "louder" but will have almost 0 sq.

jl site says to run .62 cu.ft. per sub for best results....what makes you say 1.25?

and its not going to be possible to run 1.25 for me....these subs are going under the back seat of a silverado...the box only gives me .65 cu. ft. per sub....

iam sorry, the 1.25 is for a ported box. the .65 is for sealed. that will be good too, just rember to use poly fill(about half a pound each) for the subs.

It depends what you consider "loud". 2 W3 10's sealed will have decent output but more important they will sound good doing it. I've heard a few different rides with three W3 10's sealed on 1000rms and I thought it got pretty loud for a daily car.

Well I have two 10w3v3s in my Titan with a JL Audio 500/1 and it can get really loud. I don't know if you can here it down the road because I just installed it a few days ago, but it gets loud. I will be tuning it this weekend after I install my JL 300/4. I have a custom sealed box made specifically for the 10w3s.
