I just picked up this amp from a trade and was wondering if you can modify it to give more power @ 2 ohms? Can the PG Xenon trick work with it?

no. you won't get more out of that amp than it was designed for. it's too technically advanced. basic amps are easier to mod. the slash series is not basic since it regulates output based on connected impedance so you make rated power regardless of what impedance you present (within range).

try the amp out, it's a solid amp. if you want more, sell it and buy something else.

I know it's a good amp. Just saw some post on the PG and was wondering. How good you think it would be on a dd9515 dual 4ohm?

Should do fine..the 9515 will take more power tho..But should have nice output if your box is decent

They have been clamped to do well past 1500 clean very solid and clean amps i miss mine badly

Ok I will leave the jl amp alone. I should be getting a PG Xenon 1200.1 to experiment with soon.
