Isn't the 500.1 regulated?

I have e series, and it is good, but still a bit pricey. sometimes I wish I had bought a cheaper amp, but at least I know I have a good product.

Better to have spent too much but be happy, than spent too little and be unhappy and have to spend the money again. I've heard a bunch of JL amps, a store here sells a lot of them. They are great amps, probably the best available on the mainstream.

i have a jl 300/4 runnincg to mb quart psd213's and boston nx97 and it provides them with plenty of power and they sound nice and crisp

i also have a 500/1 running to a 10w6v2 and that amp can beat the **** out of that sub if i turned the gains up, so overall i am very happy with both of my jl amps

That much for a 1000.1? Wow, then they are definitely over priced. $999 is the MSRP of the Xtant 1001 and the Xtant is definitely a much nicer amp. Oh well, Even if they are overpriced, which they are, you still get what you pay for for the most part. JL amps can't be all that bad.
