JL 8W7 enclosure ideas 03 Tacoma

Looking to fab an enclosure for a JL 8W7. Will be going in a 2003 Tacoma crew cab. Need to keep as much seating as possible so I was thinking the best(only) option would be to place it in foot well behind the driver or passenger seat. Was thinking about making it out of fiberglass/Bondo to squeeze every available in. of air space. Sealed.

I'm guessing as long as I stay with the recommended air space(.875 cu.ft.) the sub doesn't care how I get there, as far as the configuration?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
