JL 500/1 question

Can a JL500/1 amp power two JL 10W6v2-D4 subs? I'm just picked a 500/1 from Craiglist. I recently came across a good deal on some 10W6 subs. I'm just trying to determine if I should buy the subs or not. Thanks.

It should sound ok, but they can take more than your amp is capable of.

Those usually like about 500ish a piece. I would drive them moderately with that until you have enough money to buy another or a bigger amp to run both and sell that amp.

Yeah I was afraid of that. I gues the best option is to run the two subs off a 1000/1 amp.
