Local guy says he has a blown JL 13w7 for $100. Wanting go know recone options and if its worth reconing. Thanks for any info folks.

He does do nice work, just saying he isnt the only guy that can build subs. Not to mention I have built a 13" W7 before, made square L7's into round subs, reconed new style re xxx's. Basically the weird subs I like to recone.

Cost your looking $55 for the coil (3.5" coil), $30 for a cone/surround adapter to fit a 12" cone in there (good luck finding a 13" cone), $20 for the cone, $20 for the spiders, $10 for the leadwire, $4 for the terminals, $5-25 depending on what dustcap you want. Then you got to ship it both ways

I have a lnib pioneer premier deh-p510ub with all accessories and the box, got a bunch of woofer parts, got some smaller amps laying around. Pm me if interested in any of that

it uses a odd coil size I don't stock, I do the 12w7"s though...
