Jl 13w7 factory prowedge or 2 10" DLS nobellium subs?

I have a 2009 Volkswagen GLI which I just got. I am doing a whole system but my question today pertains to the subs I will be running. I am trying to decide between a pair of 10" DLS Nobelium(or iridum) subs in their optimal sealed enclosure or a factory JL audio 13w7 prowedge box. Which is preferable in the trunk of a GLI(Jetta) with the back seats in the upright position, not folded down? Which one of these two will do a better job of transmitting the bass into the passenger cabin? Thanks

You sure that the single 13w7 in the prowedge box will manage to get more impact into the passenger cabin than the two 10" DLS subs? I am leaning towards to JL too but I just want to be sure cause it's a pretty big purchase.

Oh ok, thanks a ton for the input guys. I knew that the 13W7 is a fantastic sub, I just wanted to make sure that a single 13w7 could provide the type of impact I want. I had a hatchback rsx typs s before in which the trunk is inside the car lol so anything I had before can't be used as a reference. Here, the cabin will be isolated from the trunk which concerned me.

Now, I am trying to decide whether I should power it with a jl 1000/1 v2 or a alpine pdx 1000. I like the fact that the alpine is tiny and will probably strain the alternator less but is the SQ as good as the jl amp?

the only amp to run that sub w/ is the 1000/1. it's rated the same from 1.5 to 3 ohm, and since the w7 has such a wierd wiring config., it's ur best bet. the pdx is good, but not for that sub

The final impedance that the 13w7 prowedge box is wired to at the factory is 3 ohms. The alpine pdx puts out 1000x1 anywhere between 2 and 4 ohms. If the jl sub is wired to 3 ohms, wont the pdx work fine? I am leaning towards the pdx simply because my friend has a 1000/1 v2 in a new hummer h3 and it dims the lights way more than any 1000 watt amp he has ever had. The voltage drops low fast too. What do you think?

the same will happen w/ the alpine. if he were to upgrade the big 3, it would help alot. i've ran them in my truck, and it's not a big deal, if done properly. go w/ the jl for sure
