The alpine pdx puts out 1000x1 anywhere between 2 and 4 ohms. If the jl sub is wired to 3 ohms, wont the pdx work fine? I am leaning towards the pdx simply because my friend has a 1000/1 v2 in a new hummer h3 and it dims the lights way more than any 1000 watt amp he has ever had. The voltage drops low fast too.
