JL 12w6v2 vs. Digital Designs 1012

Which do you prefer. they are from what i read similar in wattage. these will be paired up and in a sealed box. What sub set do you like the JL's or the DD's. Looking for sound quality and about 1000-1200 watts total. Pushed by a viper d1200.1 or the Precision Power DCX 1000.1.

reason i am asking, i havent heard either & dont know anyone with DD's. so i'm going to the pro's = the forum for input.

Although I havent ever messed with the 1000 series, I am sure you will be happier with the jl's if you are going for Sq. I am happy with my 9500, but it isn't aimed toward Sq at all..but its loud as hell.

12w6 is a SQ woofer and that DD is an SPL woofer???

i dont think he ment it that way, when comparing to the W6 the W6 comes out more for SQ and the DD comes out for spl, but from i here they are both awsome subs
