Well yesterday I spent about 6 hours fitting everything in the car, looked wicked but the sub enclosure was too small for the sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif
I used a rockford for the 2 boston SL95 speakers which sounded amazing, and used a Boston Xtream 880 Amp for the JL 12W6v2-D4, this sounded crap, I just couldnt get the bass right, everytime I set it up from the amp and the headset, the sub started to make a noise like (perrrrrr, perrrrrr), I checked to see if there were any leaks, and even filled it with polyfill but same result //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif
Conclusion is that the enclosure isnt big enough so Im going to make a normal sub enclosure today, nothing fancy like finerglass, just a ported enclosure. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
Im still looking for the right Amp for the JL 12W6v2-D4, any suggestions, anyone?
