JL 12w3v2 or Type R 12"

Tryng to get back into car audio. Have an 90 k5blazer need to decide on 1-type R 12" or 2 JL 12w3v2..i mainly want to decide if to go with 1 or 2 subs. I want it to hit clean, but also get some decent lows...both set ups would b on a ported box tuned to abt 30 hz ...either set up wld get abt 400 rms for now(wll upgrd later, need to play with this amp) ive always used JL subs before but it seems that this Type R does very well...is part #SWR-1242D the corrct type R everyone is so amazed by?...thx for the help

i've heard both, and the JL's are very clean...but i think the R will go lower and harder...id say its sound quality vs. more bass...

why not go for the w3v3's? if your interested i know a site that sells them for cheap.. got my 12w3v3 for $155shipped w/1yr warrenty

i can get both JL's for $250 from a friend...i just think the box may have to be too big for 2 subs...

depends on how much do you have or want to buy...

and if you can get them for similar prices...if same prices and don't have much power

Type Rs are good too but I'm talking from personal experience.

any1 have any suggestions/plans on size of box for the 2-JLw3's? i would like it ported tuned aroun 30hz...i ran a search the other day n found some plns for single, but now i cant find it...if it makes a difference, these would go on k5 blazer...thx
