JL 10w7 owners in here

I have a JL 10w7 in a H.O. box and I need an amp for it. What are you using to push your 10w7? Also I will need a 4 channel amp so if you pick an amp for the 10w7 I want a 4 channel the same name brand.

Also the sub amp must be under $300

hopefully you are going ported b/c its not wise to make the mistake that I did and go sealed (i have a 13).. as far as amp for a 10w7, i'd say get these 2

remember its svc 3ohm so you need something that puts out about 600 watts @ 3ohms

but yet u're going to get the same brand to run your highs so you don't want to get some b/s stuff either (i suggest something that's 75x4 @ least)

now if it were me and i had a 10w7 i'd do this.....

bx1500d run it at 3ohms which means you should be getting b/w 500 & 1000 watts .....

then if you decide to add a 2ond later you'll have b/w 1000 and 1500 watts to push 2 (using the same amp).

2nd i'd get a hifonics either z6400 or z4400 (i've had both and they are sufficient).

yes it is in H.O. box made by JL audio (ported).

I was thinking the same amps that you listed but wasn't sure.

PG Xenon is an awesome amp! I know there are a lot of better amps out there, but this is the best one I've owned to date. I have it in a ported box. Barely any SQ has been lost.

Can't go wrong with PG amps. I'm planning to get a PG Tantrum 1200.1 for my 12W7 in a month or so. Then it'll be time to build a new ported box.

is a great amp but i would go with the memphis mojo and the memphis 4 channel a lot cheaper but pack a hell of a punch
