JL 10w3 question

I have (2) JL Audio 10w3v2-D2 subs. right now each is wired for a 4 ohm load. I want to run them off a mono class D amp at 2 ohms. How do I wire the subs? Do I run speaker wire from the amp to a + on one sub and - on the other sub, with a wire from + to - from sub to sub? Or do I run speaker wire from the to + on each sub, with a second wire from - to - from sub to sub? This wiring has me confused.
