i dont get it..... i plugged the wireless card into the laptop, connects fine with the laptop itself, finds my network, but it wont connect to the network, AND the "link" light isnt on with the card... grr why does it have to be so hard //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif :furious:

okay okay details //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Windows XP SP2, Itsa Linksys Wireless B/G PC card, router is a linksys wireless B. WEP is involved

not sure if this even applies...but did you enter the ssid? Sometimes it broadcast them and sometimes you have to enter it. Shoudl be able to get it form the router set up page. Or wep/wap. The config page on the router should tell you whats up. You know how to get into that correcT?

okay... i am kindof able to connect lol... my uncle told me to put the MAC number in the network.... did that and now the "link" light flashes on and off, and the little internet icon says it has limited or no connectivity. Problem says that "the network did not assign a network address to the computer", and wont connect to my network
