i could tell you so many things to do with an XJ and not break the wallet! i can upgrade anything on a chero for less than 100 bucks usin junk yard upgrades! pm me if your interested!
X2. Hell, my complete lift has costed me less than $300 and I'm up to 4.5"s in the front and 5.5"s rear now.

 
It's just that I never had a membership on there, and once they made the new membership rules (no posting in O/T, Picture showcase, Classifieds, etc without a membership) I stopped going there. It wasn't that I couldn't afford it, it's just that I couldn't justify spending $45 on a forum. I still stop by once in a while but I was un-aware of the Magnum alt swap. I'm definitely going to look into that. Thanks for the heads up.

want true cold air intake? factory your air box is on the same side as intake mani and header(4.oL) so theres all your main heat right there, get a cold air intake from a 2000neon, and run your cone filter on the other side right behind a/c compressor! bout 40 degrees cooler over there! got mine at a junkyard for 8 bucks! and redo all your headlight wiring in 10g, never dim again no matter what plus loads brighter!(might dim with more than 1000w but i never had a problem after the upgrade!)

Hmm, that's not a bad idea. I've got a home made CAI from a Sunfire on it right now, but the filter ends up in the same spot as the stock air box.

yeah thats bout my lift, i think its around 4.5-5 front and 6 in rear w/s10 springs and 2"skyjack shackle! put f-150 coils up front for a stiff 3"s flew em out 10 times or so they ride like a cadi! i didnt do that but i helped my buddy do it and its nice

I've got F150 coils up front with a 1.75 inch spacer. Definitely a stiffer ride but it actually feels more in control since it doesn't bounce around so much.

2 stock XJ leaf packs together will give an easy 4"s+ too. I just threw a 1" block under it and rides stiffer but not unbearable.

over flex her a bit and let her sit for about 20 mins, pull off hill repeat on other side, do this 5-6 times and you will maintain the lift but it will loosen it up some and will ride alot nicer! take off rear sway bar for softer ride, leave rear on and delete front one for even smoother ride but dont do 80 round turns and you wont flip, i've been sway barless for a couple years now, only complaint after 2years the driver front is saggin by about 3/4" from where im always in it and the bars not there to force it to level with the pass side!

They've actually softened up on there own a little over a year or so. Or atleast it seems that way.

Just took the rear sway bar last week when I put in some new U-bolts. I'm thinking I'll keep the front in for now though. Maybe just get some quick disconnects. My driver side front sags a half inch too. Not sure exactly what it is though, thinking maybe the coil. I'm saving up for a set of 6.5" coils and new LCA's right now anyway.

i got a set of rough country discos, missing one bushing i believe, if you want them ill try to find em, i paid like 50 on ebay for em, 10 bucks there yours if i ever find em ill get some pics!

 
Sure! Theres no rush though, whenever you have the time.
all see if i can find em, i know they at my moms house but i only go there every other sunday when i have my daughter for the weekend. but yeah i know they missing a bushing or something, but ya gotta have those brackets that go on your sway bar to convert em to bar pin style. i have a set of those floatin around in the building to you can have if i find em, ill let you know.
