slow slow slow process(4 kids, full time job, full time dealin with fiance's crap!)

heres what i got so far:

this will eventually make its way to the roof facing downward and forwards

i did some work on the box today pics to come tommorrow from that(basically just sealing it off with some silicone and shrunk the box a bit)

so far got hifonics 5.25 components(2 sets) ran by a crunch gp4150(1200...lol 30+30fuse so 600x4!!) and ill be putting 4 hifonics 12's with 2 hifonics amps and a kinetik1400 under the hood and 2 kinetik 800's in the rear! and gotta get an alpine cda-9887 to replace the jvc crap i got going on right now, and got the BIG 3 done with 1/0awg memphis wire! slow start but im doin this the right way and takin my time(dont dog on the hifonics stuff, i been runnin with there stuff for a while and like it so i stuck with it, the crunch dog all you want i hate this amp, if you put the volume down flat you still here massive static white noise!!! whats the THD% on this thing like 30.5%?)

like i said slow slow SLOW process! give me a couple days ill get more, today i shrunk the box down to only 10.75 cubes and put a petition in the middle of the port and cut ports to be tuned lower from 33 to 24( not that it matters) plus made it to be 2 seperate chambers so once i order 2 subs and 1 amp i can bump a little while waiting to get the other stuff!

i wish i was puttin the system in my other one!

8.5", 35's, D44 front and rear half ton axles, 5.38 gears locked, homemade stinger bumper, it had fenders with wrangler tj flares but those are on my DD jeep posted above!

My XJ is still mostly stock, except for a JCR offroad front bumper w/ recovery and a surco roof rack.

that winch bumper from my DD(i sold it) but i designed it and got JCR to build it, i was the first EVER to have that style XJ bumper from JCR, go to the site and look up the xj pre-runner, you'll see my jeep on there with the bumper. makes me mad, i paid almost 700 bucks to have this one off custom bumper, so many people on NAXJA.org liked it they started askin JCR about it, so i got an email askin me for pics so they could use it as reference, now they make it for less than 500! said they would give me 50 off my next order F that in the A i want a free one with all the money they get from my idea!

LOVE the rack, does it hold up well? i wanted to get one but i only get like 7mpg now so im scared too! sweet lookin jeep though, mad respect for doin it with a pre97 body style!

Yea... I can grab the rack and easily rock my jeep back and forth to it's limits. You can get the Surco rack from Summit for cheap, and either get gutter mounts or mounts on the stock rail. I got the stock rail mounts and they work fine.

update, did some "carpeting", so its not really carpet i work at a furniture warehouse and i got some dust cover matt the other day cause its almost the same thing just not as thick so i gotta put 2 layers on, this is all with one layer:

the speaker pod will make its way to the ceiling one day when i get around to it

the cargo it almost done, gotta put a ceiling to cap it off with MDF and carpet it, it will be my storage for my tool box and spare jeep parts like axle/drive shafts, bearings, ujoints all that good stuff that sometimes break when 4wheelin

tell me what ya think, still gotta put one more layer but gotta get more "carpet" from work and some spray glue. not the best install in the world but since i've done it all my self and its my first "real" install im proud of myself none the less!

Hopefully when you do a second layer... The MDF will be hidden a bit more.
