Jeep Wrangler In-seat sub box build

Do you know how much air space you ended up with? I've got to do something with my Jeep too.
I have no clue to be honest, how do I calculate it?

Should've just rammed more foam in there.
I tried but then the passengers would sit so high that their heads would be above the roll bar........I never have passengers anyway.

particle board???
No way, 3/4" MDF.

length x width x height will give you the cubic inches. Then divide that number by 1728 to get the cubic feet. Just be sure to figure interior dimensions instead of exterior. Of course you'd have to account for the offsets in the box too.

So you got the plans for this box off Jeep forum from SirGcal? I was going to use his plans for my jeep too but ended up doing 2 eights down firing in the back.

If I remember correctly that box is a little over 1/2 a cubic foot. Went back and looked at the plans again it is .589ft3

I used his plans as a basis but did my own thing with it. He also used 5/8" mdf so you have to take that into consideration if you use 3/4" mdf as I did.

Very nice man:handclap:, I like that and I bet it sounds great.....someone on here commented about my choice in equipment but mine sounds so good its crazy. I can only imagine how good your sounds. The only thing with your setup is loss of storage space but that could be overcome with a hitch rack or tire carrier rack when needed.
