Jeep Wrangler In-seat sub box build

I built this box which fits inside of my rear seat and is totally out of sight and sounds incredible for what it is. This design is awesome because it takes of zero space in the already small interior of the Wrangler. I am more of a sound quality guy and this definately takes care of that. Anyway here are a few pics and thanks for looking!

I just had the sub from an old setup and really did not want to invest money into this as I take my Jeep offroad and it gets abused //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif The amp is a cheap mono "600 watt" (haha) Dual brand amp from Best buy. It really does sound awesome though, I am impressed with it. Just for kicks here is a pic of me offroad with it.

It is a 97 and yes, the seat looks completely factory and normal. A lttle more uncomfortable beacause of removing some foam for the box to fit.

Wasn't judging the choice, just wondering. Think you were smart to use that equipment in the install. If it gets wet or damaged on the trail, you wouldn't be out very much $. Good job.

Wow super nice! Did anything with the amp install to help "offroad proof" it?

I mounted the amp upside down attatched to the bottom of the driver's seat so it is at least off of the floor.

its a neat box, you should try a little higher end sub in the future with some power.

The one thing I have to worry about it mounting depth, I only have about 5" or so for depth.
