So I own a Jeep Liberty Sport and definitely need to upgrade my low end. I'm going with 2 12" L5's ported around 30-32 Hz each, however i got to thinking and I dont really want just an average MDF carpeted square plain box. Could anybody think up a cool looking box design.

trunk width: 43"

depth: 20" (floor) 10" (top of back seat to back door)

Height: 20" Max

help me out with a design if you have some good ideas please. I cant think of anything.

subs up port back. can't really think of a cool looking design but that'll be the loudest way to point things in an suv it seems.

id fiberglass them each into different boxes on each side of the cargo area, youd have more room and it would look real custom and cool.

Yeah ill take up the whole cargo area and after spending the money on everything else i dont think i want to put in fiberglass because i dont know how and because i wont have the money to get it custom done unfortunately..

you could go with small subs and a "wicked one box" with some plexiglass and some custom amp racks. just a thought.

ive id plexiglass the sides of the box, depending on how its mounted, or one face, so you can see the magnets on the subs. that is if you have some beast subs. you dont wanta show off and just end up looking lame.

I say do two towers, one sub in it's own enclosure on each side. Have the subs on the bottom facing the rear hatch, and the port firing up towards the ceiling. Then connect the two boxes with a piece of MDF. Drill holes in the MDF and mount plexi rods on it coming out towards the hatch. Cut the rods at an angle on the hatch end and mount your amps in midair by screwing the feet into the end of the plexi rods. Wrap your wiring behind the amps and zip-tie it to the rods so you don't have anything hanging, then run it through the MDF. You can mount small neons on the MDF behind the amps for a little lighting.

thats pretty awesome, but it seems like a big project with lots of hard cuts..i'll look more into it for sure.
