JDM double din

Hey

I have an 02 wrx sedan with a double din stock unit. I want to replace it with an aftermarket double din hu, and have been looking at some of the JDM hu's available. I do not know too much about the whole JDM audio thing, but I am very familiar with car audio. So far I have narrowed my picks to these 4:

*Kenwood DPX-8100MJ

*Pioneer FH-P66MD

*Alpine MDA-W933J

*Kenwood DPX-7021MPI

If anyone has any input on these models, or any others I might be interrested in I would appreciate it!

Also, if any of you know of any JDM audio venders on the internet, or in the ny/nj area, like in China town or something, that would be great too.

Mike,

I have a 05 STi and I went with a single DIN center channel speaker and head unit. I am not that big on the double DIN units, but some of the JDM units are quite nice. I would recommend Eclipse or Alpine myself.

Audiocubes is a good site for pics and info, but you can save a bundle over their prices by checking ebay.

PS, There is a nice JDM Eclipse in the classifieds.

what do you mean by JDM? eclipse has a nice one here and you do know that you can buy a regular din deck and use an install kit right?

Double DIN units are very popular in Japan, and the market is more toward SQ.

thanks for the input guys. and yes, I am aware of the install kits, but i do not think they are as clean as a double din setup, and I worked in a car audio shop as a kid.
