JBLs Unknown amp

OKay, Im going to try to explain this in the way that my buddy was thinking when he bought this amp. He was on ebay, wanted to get an JBL 600.1 but found some guy offering to sell him a "JBL" amp but the seller did not know anything. From this Pic can anyone guess as to what size or anything about this amp. He has not got the amp yet. Here a lil side note on what the guy said about the amp "I dont know how many watts it is but i think its over 200, shipping is $30.00 because the amp weighs 18 pounds" BTw he go the amp for 30 + shipping.

Whats the link to the auction? Do you know what those numbers are on the amp?

Nope I have no idea what those number are at this time, but i will try to figuar it out. Maybe open the picture up in a Photoshop or something and zoom in on it. AS far as the site gos, It was on ebay but he comtacted that guy out side of ebay ( i know strictly Forbiden, But he too his chances) When i emailed the guy, he refuses to talk about the amp i think that might be stole, My friend say different as in got a good deal. By the way i got the info on it being 18 pounds from him. thats all he said, because we *****ed about shiipping being so much.

looks like it says 9537C-3D30D, but i haven't found out anything about it

that would make sense....since that amp does not look familiar and is not on jbl's site or anywhere on the internet.

Some guy who also bought the a amp off this guy is saying this thing is a ECG unit, which i ahve no idea what that is. but what it boils down to is it is not an amp. Tho i dont think jbl makes car computer parts, or do they?

Please help......By the way it came yesterday, and theres no wireharness for it, so im not sure what to even do with it.. Oh and just for grins it weighs barly anything. Nothing worth 30 bucks to be shipped.

the JBL preimum amplifiers were not labelled at all...

(JBL did not even want THEIR name attatched, lol)

well now that the guy already screwed you out of your money...why dont you email him and ask him what it really is. maybe he will tell you the truth now that its too late.

"Hey Thats a real funny joke, I got the package but i dont think its the right one. You told me the amp we New in the box, well new amps come with the wiring harness, second thing is it was only about 8.14 to have that amp shipped to me, Not 30.00. So What the hell am i supposed to do with a amp that is completely worthless. Well Im going to let you decide, please respond to me with in 3 days. Action will be taken

Are you even sure that thing is a 12v amp? Looks to me like it could possibly be something designed for a home system. I used to do home theater work and I have used similar looking units that were used to drive sub cabinets, they basically sit on the back of the sub cabinet. Do you have a pic of the side where the connections go?
