hey just wondering what amps your using to power them and how many watts rms are giving your sub?
Yea they handle it no problem. The design of the gti allows for advanced cooling, therefore this helps powerhandling a bit. A good friend of mine runs the bpx 2200.1 on a pair, which is 2900rms, and has been for a year now. We torture them all the time, they love it.1500 Daily??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif :wow:
What kind of car do you have? Do you know what you are hitting for DB's, I must just of had a bad pair of subs it seems like alot people on this site are running double the rms rating countinously. What box do you have them in? and How big is it?Yea they handle it no problem. The design of the gti allows for advanced cooling, therefore this helps powerhandling a bit. Wow, you guys bumped this 2 year old thread... The gtis werent mine, they were a budy of mine. He was never metered, but easily 140+ in his accord. What kind of amp did you have, and did you set the gains? He still has them running off his crown 2200.1, and they are still going strong after almost 3 years. What kind of car do you have?
