Yeah man. That 4 channel is $549. I know that's pretty expensive for a 400w amp, but I figured someone would have tried it already. I can get this same amp brand new with warranty for $379. Just wanting some opinions before I pull the trigger.

Cool idea and concept, but that price is killing me.
compare it with the kicker sx7004 though and the price is reasonable.

honestly im gonna just get a zed leviathan III and run it active off a jvc nav unit.

yes finally a nav unit with time alignment and active crossovers with no external boxes

Yeah, that price is very high for 400w. I can get a new one for $379 but still, that's a JBL 4ch, and it's only 400w. For the same price I can get a Crescendo 1100.4. I'd like to see more companies use digital processing in the near future. But then again, I don't wanna see prices increase.

digital processing is easier found in headunits and standalone dsp units the pioneer deh-prs80 has all the processing most any one can need and pioneer offers a deck that is rivaled as one of the best in the world but it has a heafty price tag $1300

Yep, you are right. I would love to have a Pioneer DSP. But this amp is pretty sick for the fact it's very compact, and you can adjust it more accurately. It will show you the exact point at which it starts clipping. But like you & RAM have mentioned, that's a hefty price tag. Even if I picked up one at $379, I wouldn't feel like I got a good deal.
