What does the second version of this amp add? I think this is the amp i want if i can find it at a good price but i'm thinking it might be overkill for my situation. I plan on buying new comps for the front (I think pioneer premier 720 prs) and powering them with this amp but i think i will only need 2 channels of it because bridged would be far too much power right? But on the other hand i dont want to buy a small 2 channel and realize later that i want amped rear fill or maybe i will decide to go active in the future (i would have to get a crossover or new hu). I could save some money and buy a 2 channel just for the front components but i don't know. What did you guys do or what do you think i should do?

If you can afford it after finding a decent price, I'd say go for it. You might decide on a bigger pair of comps up front later, or decide to go active. Then you'll be glad you went with 4 channels
