what are all the settings? (hu and amp) take a pic of the side of the amp if possible

to get some decent sound i turn the input level one full rotation and another half to get a little more....

no the only thing i really turn is the input level....i leave everything else off....ive experienced with turning diff gains on and off and all the same once i turn up the volume i hear that noise..

I really wish I could help man...cuz Im at a loss for words. My GTi never did that and my bass boost was off, etc.

okay this is the recent news....local sterio place says yet again there going to order ANOTHER one....yes so this is my 3rd gti ive been through.... there blaming it on the terminals on the box....even though its been in 3 diff. boxes....so in a week we'll find out what happens
