JBL GT5 2402 BR-Building a new box

My setup uses two 12in subs. I have a trunk setup and im wanting cleaner hits that I can feel and I'm wondering if a new box would get me what I want. Does anyone know if i can use the GT-5's in the pre-ported box and just re-wire them in a new one?

If so, What would be the best box to go with?
