JBL GT5 12 inch vs Sundown e12

if you arent getting proper SQ out of your current GT5, you are doing something horribly wrong.

That's what I'm going to. If mine ever sells. Sonic has a deal with a free sealed box which will work until I figure out what it's going to do.

I hope it is but a lot are telling me to stay clear after the PB buyout. Audiofrog also has a respected cheaper line

A buddy of mine was close to pulling the trigger on a new w6. Told him to look into the idq line. I know the quality is allegedly less now, but the idq was almost 300 less than what he was gonna pay for the jl.

He opted for the idq. He was thrilled. Said sq was more than respectable, and it was louder than he expected.. it blew a week later on a jl 500/1. Sonic replaced it, even tho it was user error (clipping).

He turned gain down on new one and hes happy. He may have felt differently had Sonic not honored warranty

I like what I am getting with the GT5, just wondering if the E12 would sound better ...
