whoa i posted that twice.

I was going to buy a profile AP1040 (80 watts x 4) and run cdt's off the front two channels and a bridge the rear channels to run a phoenix gold sub. bridged power =225 watts which is enough for me. amp is only $150.

You want a sub for 90 bucks, grab the RE series from resonant engineering. U will only be wasting ur money by going with sony subs and cheap equipment. Either save up more money and buy the good stuff, or put together the money u have and buy things peice by peice. Profile makes really cheap good quality amps. Do research and dont rush urself into buying crappy products.

according to ngsm he said earlier in this thread the 12" is 69 dollars or maybe less. so 10" would probly be about 60 bucks, but give them a call tomorow.

well well ,many of the guys have rejected PIONEER.I have asked for TSW-305C,but they said it wasn't gud. I personally haven't owned a pioneer sub, but there was one that I saw when I was out of town at a radio shack that looked well built. It had woven tinsel leads and didn't have a gimicky look. Unfortunately I don't remember the model #. I don't favor sony. I have an older sony es deck which back then was their higher quality deck. I'm happy with the deck and have had no problems with it. I have had one of their regular xplod decks and it started having problems just under 2 years of use. The buttons on the face stopped working so I had to start using the remote to get it to work. THe xplod deck was a $200 deck where the es deck was $300 or $400 when it was released.

Why is sony making those strange shaped subs anyway? A circle has greater surface area.

Funny thing about that post is your lying. You did not order a sub overnight and get then install. Sorry pal but your full of s$$$. Dude I get my friends car with his Sony's that he has, use one of his 12's and whoop your *** on the db meter. That JBL is old and is not powerful. Jbl amps are good not their subs except the GTO series. You have fun sector you being a kid and all, you just keep up the lies. I mean you can't even spell correctly. The reason your friends probably sounds horrible is because he is not powering them enough and the install sucks. I have done alot of sony's for friends, powering them to full potential at 350watts rms and giving them a good install and enclousure. My buddys sons sony's hit 138Db with two 12's ported with 310watts rms into each. Have you ever seen the penny trick? Lets just put it this way we bounce pennys on this kids roof. We like making lower end subs kick ***. We have suceeded numerous times with it as well. Badsector bad choice you have fun with that piece of s$$$. Sony subs might **** to alot but will whoop that sub on any day of the week and thats sad. That thing about Sony decks shouldn't be in there bs they have been in the top 5 for making head units the past 3 years. If your friends sony's are dying its because they aren't taking care of it or they had bad luck. Plain and simple sony head units have always gotten top notch reviews and have incredible features. If you wanna see sony's badsector come down to my city and hear these in buddys sons car. They will kick your *** and you won't believe they are sonys.
