I was going to get a 1200.1 but it stil lwasnt enough wattage. but it will do more or less 1300w at 1 ohm, The only down again is the subsonice filter, you can buy those cheap tho

I never said anything bad about the crown built ones.I am talking about the BP series tho.

To the original poster, you're a dumbass for trading a JL 500/1 for a BP1200.1 unless they're giving you cash as well.The JL, used is about a $300 amp and the JBL, used as well is about a $150 amp.No mean to offend but....

I would buy which ever amp is cheaper IMO both are pretty even in quality and output,both have distinct but nice appearance's both are made overseas in asia
