Old Yamahas Give Me Wood
I just got home about an hour ago, and there on my doorstep was a beautiful JBL 1200.1 (no, santa didn't leave it....that fat bastard's in the north pole right now doing coke with the easter bunny)
anyway, i wired it up to my 1200.1 and it nearly took my friggin head off....this thing puts out way more power than the digitalis. With that said, you're gonna hear something from me that you won't hear from too many bass heads...it's too freakin loud. at volume 5, it sounds like volume 15 on the other amp. My mids and tweets can't keep up with it, even when i crank the gains way down. I was wondering if anybody knew whether the 1200.1 is 8ohm stable, and if so what kinda power it puts into an 8ohm load. I wired it up in series, and it will run my sub at 8ohms, but i don't wanna fuk it up the day i get it. what's the best way to do this without breaking anything?
