jbl amps ??

then you probably have to get anothe ramp that will power all three. cause the 1200.1 is only a two channel amp. or you could buy three 300.1's to power all three subs and that would definately give you some nice bass.

Ok if you want to pick up another woofer then purcashe the JBL 1200.1. Wire all three of them in series to create a impedance load of 2.67ohms, then hook it to the amp. That would be a good setup too!!

You don't need 3 300.1's. The 1200.1 should give you about 300 wRMS per sub if you run it around 2.67 ohms. (If you go with 3 subs)

but it would be less stress on the amp if you got the three and probably better sounding. because the 1 amp will have to be dedicated to 3 subs where as the three would only be dedicated to one. but it would probably be more cost effective if you just went with one 1200.1 but i think the three 300.1s would sound better.

the 1200 is a mono block..it just has two outputs for ease of use

If this was in my car I would run a 1200.1. It would be a much bigger waste of money if you got 3 300.1's, you need extra wires and distro blocks, plus the cost difference. I also dont think there would be much of a differece sound wise between the two.

Yeah, just put 2 of them in series then put that combo in parallel with the last, that'll give you 2.67ohms. But I'm not sure what kind of power you're gonna get from the amp at 2.67ohms. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I completely agree. Having three amplifiers instead of one to do the exact same job the exact same way is nothing more than a headache and a hassle. It should make no difference in SQ. Amplifiers don't care if it's hooked up to 1 subwoofer or 1000 of them, as long as the impedance doesn't cause failure.
