JBL 600 or 1200 amp for Perfects

What amp should I use for two 12 infinity perfects, Jbl 600.1 or 1200.1? 1200 too much power? I am interested in SQ, I don't want my car to feel like it's falling apart because of to much bass. All your opinions will be helpful.
