JBL 600.1 at 1 ohm? stable?

You may not have any problems , Or you may have problems , WHen I ran my 1200.1 a 1 ohm it always tried to clip on me , I have heard others say this also , SOme of them will go into protection at 1 ohm when its being driven hard , Jbl says they put out the same power at 1 ohm as 2 ohms but it never says they are stable to one ohm , HMNMMM

if there is not much, or any, difference between 1 and 2 ohms they why not just run it at one to be safe and not have problems.one of my friends has a 1200.1 and runs it at 2 ohms and has never had a lick of problem, but its ur choice

if i had a choice to run mine at 2 ohms i would. but my subs were dual 4 ohm. So i could either run them at 1 ohm or 4 ohm. get it???

If it will run at 1 ohm its fine but im just saying you mayt run into protection problems depending on how low the load gets with the subs running ful boat !

well they're cheap amps for a lot of watts, you get 1200 watts or more with the 1200.1 and only pay like 280 or something around there? im sure they dont check everything on every amp with that kind of cost

just my .02

Can i run a JBL 600.1 with DVC 4ohm subs which im guessing would produce a 1ohm load for long extended periods at a time with no problems?
i know of 3 people, including myself, who run 600.1 at 1 ohm on a daily basis w/o a problem.
