Bought an amp for cheap and never used it. Went to sell it today and the protection light came on. Didn't surprise me for what i paid for it but I was wondering if it is something common that I could replace. Yes the amp is pretty common and can be replaced. Or, send it off to be repaired if your sure you hooked it up correctly

I was talking more so a common problem that a little surgery could handle?

are you sure its the amp and not something else in the system causing to go into protection?
