JBL 1200.1 Protect Mode - Need Help

Hi,

Just tried to hook up my new subs and my amp. I have just ran all the wires in the car. I ran a 2 gauge wire straight to the battery. I ran a 2 gauge ground wire to the frame (even sanded the frame), and ran the remote wire to the radio along with the RCA's.

I noticed the green light comes and stays on, on the amp. But, the big red square at the top of the amp is on, usually it is orange not red. Nothing happens. I have tried the speakers hooked up, and tried them not even hooked in the amp. Same problem. The amp is red. I need some help.

Is your ohm load correct for the amp? Do you have enough power to feed it?

If so double check all connections.

Yeah, actually I have disconnected all speakers from the amp and it is still red.
