Im having some trouble setting the low pass on this amp. It just jumps from 32hz to 320 hz. Where should i have the low pass set at? Like half way up or what? I have my other amp high pass set at around 100hz. So how would i set the low pass for the jbl? I currently have it set alittle bit higher then 32 hz, but i dont know what hz that is. The circle dial is really vague it jumps from 32 hz to 320 hz. Can anyone help me set the low pass on this amp?

Thx -John

Well if you want to go to 100 Hz on your low pass you would have it turned left of top dead center. Top dead center is about 144 Hz.

When i set mine i had to think about it a little bit too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

It filters out any frequencies higher than it so your sub gets the frequencies it plays well. Typical place to set it is 60-80 Hz.
60-80?? typically it would be at least 80, if u dont want any higher notes. i personally have mine at about 120, because of the lack of midbass in my speakers.

i used to have a jbl 1200/1 and the Xover does ****, not exacttly sure what it was at but i had it pointed right before the Q on freQ

You lost me there, shrinkydinx. logarithmic? i forget what that means....lol

I just assumed that it was linear cause at the left bottom of the knob it says 32 and at the bottom right of the knob it says 320. I Figured That meant Hz like a normal crossover knob

Educate me, i am wiling to learn :p

get a sine wave test from here...http://www.snapbug.ws/sinewaves/

and if you want 80 dl and put it on a cd then test it. turn th knob until you hear the bass constant. do this at like 1/2 volume thought. nothing loud. when i did mine i just happened to set it right before i had the cd of the test tone. but it was nice reassurance. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i say 85 hz is good for the right balance b/w high and low but then again i'm a sql guy and i own a sql sub, lol
You're also gay, you forgot to mention that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/titanic.gif.8089b7552c370bcc138aa121756d0c0b.gif
