i have 2 subs and one(1) 2 channel amp, is it possible to bridge the amp for the 2 subs? the amp says that it is bridgeable, but from what i understand is that you can only bridge 2 channels for 1 sub? is this correct?

any help would be appreciated thank you.

What kind of amp is it?

What impedance are your subs?

Yes you can bridge your amp for as many speakers as the impedance load will allow, and what ever impedance load your amp is stable to operate at.

Tell us what you have and we can go from there.

i have 2 jl 10w0 at 4 ohms each, my amp is a rockford fosgate that puts out 50 rms per channel.it is 2 channel.

also, it tells me how to bridge the amp right on it, either left+ to right - or vise versa i forget.

Ok look man i had a two channel 4 ohm impedance amp bridged with two subs for a while and one sub would always distort. I did some research and found out that doing this can actually damage your sub or your amp in time. You are better off running the two channels, or find an amp that can handle a lower load impedance.
