Jbl 1200.1 or RF 1001bd

i plan on running 2 punch hx2's in a ported box....should i get the jbl 1200.1 or the rf 1001bd.....which do u prefer and why?......the jbl is bout 280 the rf is about 340....i can also get the 1051s for about 400....would that be better?....also these will be going into a civic with i believe a 70amp alternator....will that be ok?.....i'll rarely turn it above 1/2 volume especially when i'm driving....but wanna be able to hit it up when i want to....thanks!

the rockford is definitely the better amp, that's what i'd recommend! also, i'd look into a beefier alternator...even if u don't blast it all the time...it'll puke trying to supply enough current for that system. peace

ehhh, i'd say you need at least a 120amp alternator. That's a sufficient amount of power, and the amp says it needs a 100amp inline fuse...so...yeah. my 90 amp alt stresses with a jbl600.1 and a us acoustics 2080.

my 75a doesnt stress with my tsunami 1100Db @ 2ohms and a 2080...

not just drivin aroudn.....but at idle when i'm bumpin hell yeah it stresses! Oh well, new HO 200 amp alt on the way.

no, your alternator puts out less power at idle.

My stock Alternator is fine wiht my JBL 1200.1. Only dims when turned all the way up. 90amp alt. Im pretty sure.
