jbl 1200.1 blowing subs?

does the 1200.1 blow a lot of subs or something easily because ive heard people say how perfects dont get along very well with it and some other subs also. so is the 1200.1 a good way to ruin your subs for a low price or somethin? cuz ive been thinkin about gettin one

Make sure your subs can handle the power, and if its too much power than make sure adjust the gain/bass boost so you arent making any distorition in your subs.

yeah when you pair an amp that does at least 1200watts rms up with a pair of perfects that really shouldn't be fed no more than 500watts rms your gonna blow your subs. that's my opinion on it though.
